What can I do about these horrible migraines pregnancy?!?
I'm about to just relax under the covers and never come out. I work 40 hours or more per week. It's a sitting for work, so I thought it would be nice. As I'm standing on my feet all day. This is my 2nd pregnancy and the first was about 6 years or more ago and do not ever remember feeling so bad. And I worked at Toys R Us during the Christmas season. Anyway I keep getting horrible migraines and I do not know what is causing or how to make them disappear. I work at a call center so I think I have had an easy job, but is the most stressful of all, if you ask me. maybe stress is the cause. Do not know. Someone please tell me how to get rid of these headaches before I fired for leaving work early all the time? And any suggestions about the headaches would be great. BTW Tylenol does not work!
I had the same problem for about 3 weeks …. It's horrible, nothing I did (in bed, take Tylenol) worked … It is very disturbing and frustrating, but the good news is that he goes, I think it was stage of gestation that we like the terrible morning sickness … so hopefully yours will not last long. I hope you feel better soon

"I have a headache". This is not just an excuse to make fun of inactivity. More than twenty-five million Americans suffer from migraine – 75% them women. And no laughing matter. But there are natural remedies that can provide both immediate and long term permanent care.
Last episodes of migraine, on average, between 6 and 48 hours and sometimes leave a person bedridden or unable to function fully. The symptoms are many, but always include intense throbbing pain, usually on one side of the head.
Although specific causes are unknown, it is believed that migraines are the result of inflammation. This can come from stress, hormonal changes (especially during menstruation, ovulation or puberty), medications (including birth control pills), MSG, alcohol, caffeine or eat certain foods (like chocolate).
There are two main types of headache common migraine and classical. About 80% fall in the category common migraine without aura. These are usually much less painful than the classic variety with aura. An aura is a series of visual disturbances (flashing lights, seeing spots dark, complex patterns or shapes, etc.) that occur shortly before the onset of a headache. Auras are sometimes accompanied by nausea and vomiting.
Ocular migraines are often confused with classic migraines. But while experience may be similar aura occurs in only one eye. If a headache follows, usually less violent. The symptoms are only temporary and not harmful to the eye. Ocular migraines can, however, interfere with reading or driving.
Migraine sufferers may find temporary relief by lying down in a cool, quiet, dark, or by applying an ice pack or cold compresses in the press area. The headache usually disappears after a nap or sleep overnight.
Once free of migraine, is a good time to start a prevention program. Making changes to your lifestyle can often simple to permanently delete migraines. Start by finding ways to live a life less stressful. This may take some work but less stress will be worth the effort.
The next two steps are to start a regular program moderate exercise and healthy change to a migraine-free diet. Avoid foods that might trigger headache symptoms. These include caffeine, chocolate, sugar, soft drinks, alcohol, grains and sweets (desserts, cakes, cookies, cakes, sweetened cereals, etc.). These foods can be addictive, so you can have to stop using gradually.
You can really learn to enjoy a whole food diet with lots of nutritious vegetables, whole grains, fruits fresh, lean protein and pure water. This is an essential step. And, to reduce inflammation and eliminate pain, add to your diet a high quality omega-3 oil supplement fish.
Fortunately, most migraine patients, even those who have been suffering for many years, find they can prevent migraine naturally make these changes in lifestyle simple. And oh, what a relief – to be migraine free!
