For nearly 2 years I’ve been getting severe headaches. (Im 15), in the beginning, the doctor said it was allergies and gave me Claritin. Worked / s great. After a couple of months later, he developed a different type of headache. I call them migraines, but not so bad. Only the noise hurts your head, not light. But sometimes I have to put to sleep to make it go away. They come in groups. Like every couple of months we will have a bad headache every two days for a week or two, then leave. I have lots of those small, probably not 5 days a week. I tried to make a headache diary to show my doctor, but always stop just because I can not figure to put all my headaches or simply the bad (I get a headache every day or day by most of the time) do not think the food triggers, and has nothing to do with my period. What should I do?
Keep a journal of pain head and put all their headaches in it. Not only had one, but also what has been doing and where you’ve been. I have a lot of triggers migraine. Some are food and some are environmental. Sometimes I eat a small amount of trigger foods and not get a migraine, so it does not exclude food until they do some of the challenges of food. For me it was a bit easier to do the challenges because I was getting migraines every day for four years until I have everything planned. Since go through periods of no headache, you have to keep a journal very good. Try * not * take over the pain counter. Sometimes if you take a lot, can have rebound headaches. I do not take pain medication of any kind … never. Just give me too many problems. Consider their environment. I can stand a little perfume occasionally, but if I am exposed for several days in a row, I get very bad headache, if not a migraine attack.

What triggers, symptoms and treatment for migraines?
The example of my triggers certain foods, my symptoms are the points I see and I do not know what I want to do to deal
In the Sources section below, I've listed a website that describes all Common triggers of migraines / headaches. To treat migraines, do not try to guess, do not listen much to your friends or colleagues, but go to your doctor. Most migraines are treatable, but a drug or technique that works for one person, does not necessarily work for another. You have to get a complete checkup and then if your problem is that a migraine (and nothing else), then your doctor will prescribe a medication to stop each of migraine and perhaps some preventive medications (that stops you so easily get migraines or regular). If the initial medication is unsuccessful or only partly work, return to the doctor and get the modified treatment. Good luck!

Are you experiencing recurrent dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness and instability? Or you may feel you are spinning and whirling around frequently? Well, maybe you have episodes of what we call vertigo. Vertigo is one of the most common health problems in adults. The sense of movement and perception of movement are the result of an alteration in the balance or equilibrium. But the vertigo is not really a disease but merely a symptom. Occurs as a result of a disorder in the vestibular system peripheral and central is responsible for integrating sensory stimuli and movement and to keep objects in visual focus as the body.
Episodes of vertigo may last a few seconds to a few minutes, which is intermittent, usually as a result of a change in position or sudden movement of the head as turning in bed and out of bed.
Severe dizziness can lead to irritability, loss of self-esteem, depression and fall injuries. These complications can be really disabling and can cause permanent damage. So before vertigo becomes severe, it is necessary to address some of the symptoms from the beginning.
This is very important to diagnose the cause of vertigo or dizziness in their initial stages to rule out any serious ailments, including diseases cardiovascular disease, stroke, hemorrhage or tumors. Apart from its clinical history, several tests must be to assess their actual condition. These are:
• Physical examination and blood pressure and heart rate
• neurological examination such as facials, eye movements, audiometry, vestibular nerves and muscles, strength, coordination, balance and gait tests.
• Exams blood, including a complete blood count (CBC) and kidney and thyroid panel to rule out systemic disease (eg renal disease, hypothyroidism).
• Imaging tests such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Treatment for vertigo depends largely identifying and eliminating the underlying cause. For vestibular disorders, vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) can be ideal. It is a type of physical therapy To minimize dizziness, improve balance and prevent falls by restoring normal function of the vestibular system.
Vertigo is caused by migraine often can be treated with medication. Surgery, radiation or medication may be required for vertigo caused by cerebrovascular diseases (stroke, ie), tumors and multiple sclerosis.
What in the General Tsao chicken'm getting a migraine from?
I just had for lunch and after dinner was over and now I feel coming on. I have that I'm going to vomit feeling suddenly dizzy, difficult and mild form of headache. Any idea what could be a trigger? It is a MSG-free Chinese.
What causes migraines? The exact cause of migraines is not fully understood. Most researchers think that migraine is due to abnormal changes in levels of substances that occur naturally in the brain. When increased levels of these substances, which can cause inflammation. This inflammation causes blood vessels in the brain to swell and pressure on nearby nerves, causing pain. Genes have also been linked to migraine. People get migraines may have abnormal genes that control the functions of certain brain cells. Experts know that people with migraines react to a variety of factors and events, called triggers. These triggers can vary from person to person and does not always lead to migraine. A combination of triggers, not one thing or event, is more likely to establish an attack. A person's response to triggers can vary from migraine to migraine. Many women with migraine tend to have attacks triggered by: a lack or excess of sleep missed meals bright lights, loud noises, strong odors or hormonal changes during the cycle menstrual, stress and anxiety, or relaxation after weather changes stress alcohol (often red wine), caffeine (too much or withdrawal) foods that contain nitrates, such as hot dogs and lunch meat meals containing MSG (monosodium glutamate), a flavor enhancer found in foods from fast, soups, condiments, spices and foods containing tyramine, like aged cheeses, soy products, beans, hard sausages, smoked fish, and Chianti Wine aspartame (Nutrasweet ® and Equal ®) Advice I learned was to identify triggers of migraine, a headache diary. Every day you have a migraine headache, since in his diary. Also note the: time of day the headache started when he was and what he was doing when the migraine started what you ate or drank 24 hours before each day's attack has her period, not just the first day (This can allow you and your doctor to see if their headaches occur simultaneously, or similar, menstruation). Talk to your doctor about what triggers your headaches to help find treatment right for you. The medicine is available to help heal the pain of migraine is actually very good and works very well .. that reduces inflammation in the head cause pain in luck!

Migraine is a serious disorder that affects and disrupts the lives of millions. The figures show that twenty-five percent of migraine patients experience more than four attacks per month and has implications for employers, family and friends and the victim.
One of the best measures of self-help for victims is the prevention of migraine through education, because it can help self-diagnosis and provide your doctor with an intelligent approach for help with diagnosis and therefore receive adequate treatment for migraines. The main disadvantage is that although there are thousands and thousands of Internet sites for headache, is erratic and inconsistent. However, as organizations joining the American Council for Headache Education and local organizations can play a great part in the self-education on migraine.
Many self-help books containing information of migraine could be described in the same way, but my advice is to look for those sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology or other organisms such reliable.
Get a correct diagnosis is the first step in migraine management, and have always found it useful to keep a headache diary or calendar to record the severity of my migraine headache, and my response to medicines for the treatment of migraine. This includes information such as dosage, time spent and also non-pharmacological therapies, which ate during meals, exercise and sleep habits. Honestly recording of what actually does and when he did it will help your doctor treat more effectively, give the right medication for migraines and help you identify your triggers.
I'm not saying you should become obsessive and give your calendar headache more attention than necessary, but keeping one for a few months before the first visit to a migraine specialist can offer him or her with a wealth of information and may be worth keeping this afternoon. For example, I discovered that my computer sitting on my condition worsened, but when I changed presides lessen the pressure on my neck and I helped a little.
Quit and start regular aerobic exercise are self-help measures for migraine valid. The movement stimulates the brain to produce more endorphins, hormones that are natural pain control, and exercise reduces muscle tension, anxiety, increased levels energy, refreshes and helps you concentrate. However, some migraine sufferers find that this may aggravate and worsen their conditions, under these circumstances, walk can be beneficial. Remember when you are exercising, it is important to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Help themselves and to cooperate with You doctor may also lead to the exploration of natural resources for migraines, as these are increasingly popular among many are supported by research. Remedies for migraine, which is likely to be offered include relaxation techniques such as hypnosis, biofeedback, progressive relaxation, meditation, guided imagery and breathing exercises.
Other alterations of treatment for migraines include:
Acupuncture for Migraines Chiropractic care Massage Herbal Supplement Physical therapy Of vitamins (B2) and mineral supplements Magnesium Supplements Matricaria Butterbur Coenzyme Q10 Acupressure Essential fatty acid supplements Hydrotherapy Yoga
Stress not initially cause migraine headaches, but it seems that cause them, if you are a victim of migraine. Accordingly, as the stress is closely associated with a migraine and because the severity of the disease can disrupt family life that causes depression, then it also can offer behavioral therapies such as psychotherapy and stress management training.
This is not a complete manual on the prevention of migraine, but hopefully that is enough to start.
