You should consider consuming vitamins for the prevention of migraine, as studies show the link between a higher risk of developing debilitating headaches when you are deficient in certain vitamins and minerals. If you eat a balanced diet for health, then this is not likely to happen. Moreover, most of us do not eat well for a variety of reasons. For prevention of migraine, I suggest you try taking supplements of the following, especially B2 (riboflavin), B6 (pyridoxine) calcium and magnesium.
In fact, you may already have heard of magnesium to be effective in reducing the frequency and intensity of their migraine headaches. The Studies show that if you suffer from migraines probably will not have enough of this mineral in the brain. In addition, magnesium affects the arteries. When your body is low in magnesium, your arteries constrict more. Hence, you can consume more green leafy vegetables, whole grains, fish, beans and nuts. Therefore, you should take take at different times of day, say one of the morning and once in the afternoon.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and vitamin B6 have been tested products headache relief to reduce the number of migraines you have.
